Jovan Dewitt

Linebackers / Special Teams, North Carolina Jovan Dewitt, a 21-year veteran of collegiate coaching, joined the North Carolina football staff as special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach on Jan. 6, 2020. Dewitt joined Mack Brown’s staff after a two-year stint as special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach at Nebraska (2018-19). Dewitt boasts nine seasons of experience as a defensive coordinator and seven years as a special teams coordinator. He also has 11 years of experience coaching linebackers. Dewitt also served as associate head coach under Scott Frost at UCF.
